On Tues., April 2, 2019, the Trumbull Public Schools hosted a Parent Information Session on the 2019 CT SAT School Day & NGSS Assessments, including presentations from THS expert teachers in literacy, mathematics, science, and school counseling. Trumbull Public Schools is proud of its four-year growth in Advanced Placement (AP) participation and exam performance by students at Trumbull High School. The Board of Education received a presentation on this growth on October 15, 2019, which can be accessed here.

The SAT – which was redesigned as of March 2016 – and the Advanced Placement (AP) testing program assist the district in measuring key aspects of students’ college readiness. On February 2, 2016, the PowerPoint below presented district trends in SAT and AP performance and key questions to consider in the district’s continuous improvement journey.

In the event of an emergency, school delay, closure or early dismissal, notification is made to the following:

Ø  TV Stations : WTNH – Channel 8, WNBC – Channel 6 and 30, WFSB –  Channel 3

In addition, each pupil enrolled in Trumbull Public Schools shall have a health assessment at least once in each three year interval: in grade three, in grade six, and in grade nine.
