Free and Reduced Lunch Application and Information

The Trumbull Public Schools participate in the National School Lunch Program where families who qualify can receive free meals or reduced price meals (for breakfast $.30 and for lunch $.40 per day). The application is also available here with the directions for filling it out. Only one application per family is required. If you need an application for Free/Reduced Lunch - Families can download, pick up an application, or request one to be mailed to them by calling the Food Services Office, 203-452-4500 Trumbull Public Schools 6254 Main Street Trumbull CT 06611.

SNAP
If you qualify for free school meals, you might also qualify for SNAP (formerly called Food Stamps). SNAP helps people buy food for themselves and their families. SNAP benefits are issued each month on plastic debit cards. You can use SNAP benefits to buy food at major supermarkets, neighborhood grocery stores and some farmers’ markets authorized to accept SNAP.  Please Download the updated Information - Addendum C.

To save you time and effort, the information you gave on your Free and Reduced Price School Meals Application may be shared with other programs for which your children may qualify.  For the following programs, we must have your permission to share your information.  Please download the form - Addendum A and sign for those additional benefits if you are interested in receiving them.  By signing for the benefits, you are certifying that you are the parent/guardian of the child(ren) for whom the application is being made.  Note: Sending in this form will not change whether your children get free or reduced price meals.
