Referral/ Exit Criteria
Referral
Project REACH students are referred to the program through the IEP process.
Placement Criteria

Significant regression in school performance (attendance, classroom behavior, academics)

Ability to participate in an intensive supportive and structured school program

Ability to participate in the individual and family counseling components of the program
Exit Criteria
Students exiting the REACH program are those who have obtained all necessary credits for graduation or have been determined appropriate for return to their sending school by the IEP team. The decision to exit a student from the REACH program may include:

Level one status for a consistent period of time

Meeting IEP goals and objectives

An over-all academic average of āCā or better
-
Consistent school and class attendance
Note: In addition, parents are encouraged to participate in parent support meetings and family counseling.
