Guidance Department Information
Dear Parents/Guardians:
After 9 years as a school counselor in B House Guidance, I am very excited to take on the new role of Guidance Department Chairperson at Trumbull High School. I am confident that the Guidance Department will make a smooth transition, continuing to deliver a comprehensive school counseling program, while staying current with changing educational trends.

We are delighted to welcome Mrs. Jamie McEnaney (formerly Ms. Bell) to our staff, who will be taking over my B House caseload. Mrs. McEnaney was an intern in B House Guidance at THS six years ago. For the past five years she has been a counselor at Madison Middle School. We are fortunate that she has extensive familiarity and experience with many facets of the Trumbull community.  Her love of the college process is bringing her back to the high school, where I am sure she will be a tremendous asset to her students and our department.

I look forward to meeting many new faces in the days ahead and for a fantastic 2012-13 school year!

The Guidance Department consists of nine school counselors who provide personal, career and academic counseling to students in grades nine through twelve. We also have one Career Counselor who coordinates school to career opportunities with community businesses to provide our students with authentic learning experiences. Our special needs students have a specialist dedicated to providing transition options and facilitating transition programs.
