EXEMPLARY - Student analyzes, interprets and reflects with great depth. Individual and group work is successfully completed as student demonstrates a leadership role. There exists the ability to differentiate between relevant/irrelevant data. Student summarizes and evaluates with ease and eloquence.
PROFICIENT - Student analyzes, interprets and reflects adeptly. He/she can work individually or cooperatively with success. The student is competent discerning fact from fiction and is able to articulate opinions. All tasks are adequately summarized and evaluated.
NEEDS IMPROVEMENT - Student demonstrates a limited ability to analyze, interpret and reflect. He/She is capable of discerning factual information however, at times confuses it with fiction. There is limited evidence of success in cooperative ventures; at times the student struggles when working independently. Summarizing and evaluation skills are minimal.
UNACCEPTABLE - Student does not analyze, interpret or reflect. The ability to differentiate between fact and fiction is not demonstrated. There is an inability to accomplish tasks in either group or individual setting. Summarizing and evaluation skills are lacking.
