EXEMPLARY - All tasks demonstrate a superior level of comprehension. Ideas are skillfully connected and articulated through ease of expression. All tasks are exceptionally developed and characterized by correct use of syntax, diction and pronunciation.
PROFICIENT - Most tasks demonstrate s laudable level of comprehension. Ideas are well developed, connected and expressed through coherent patterns of communication. Most tasks are completed with few errors in syntax, diction and pronunciation.
NEEDS IMPROVEMENT - Some tasks demonstrate an adequate level of comprehension. The speaker has difficulty expressing ideas clearly. Limited evidence of connections and development of ideas exists. Some tasks reflect a lack of mastery. Serious flaws in grammar, syntax, diction and pronunciation are present.
UNACCEPTABLE - Tasks demonstrate a limited level of comprehension. Development of ideas and connections is incoherent. Tasks are weak and show little evidence of correct syntax, diction and pronunciation.
