Elementary | Middle School
Summer math packets are available for reinforcement and extension of the concepts and skills that your child developed during the school year. You can download the summer math packet for students going into Grades 4 - 8 or, you can pick up a hard copy of grades 4 - 6 at your child’s elementary school.

We strongly recommend that you take advantage of this opportunity to help keep your child’s math skills sharp and apply mathematical challenges to your daily summer activities.

There are many additional ways you can support your child’s mathematical thinking. For example you and your budding mathematician can do some of the following activities together:

Estimate the time of arrival for a road trip
Collect, sort, classify and count (change, seashells, pebbles…)
Calculate miles per gallon when traveling
Measure for, plan and plant a garden
Complete a puzzle, play card and board games

Parental involvement is a key factor in a child’s academic success. By being partners in your child’s education we can achieve our goal of reinforcing, maintaining, and extending skills acquired during the school year.
