Hour of Code is Here!
This week many students were introduced to Hour of Code. Some of you may remember participating in Hour of Code last year where you were among the 15 million students worldwide learning how to code. This year's challenge is to reach 100 million students. We would like to see Madison joining in the Hour of Code. Students have recieved directions on a slip of paper in homeroom telling them how to join. I hope we'll see you coding and be 1 of the 100 million students participating!
In case you lost the slip directions are below.

National Junior Honor Society
Madison Middle School is privileged to offer membership in the National Junior Honor Society to qualifying seventh and eighth students. During your middle school years, you will be setting many new academic goals that we hope will include the NJHS.
Membership in the National Junior Honor Society is both an honor and a responsibility. Please click here for guidelines for membership.
Madison Middle school is pleased to offer our students and families access to Naviance Family Connection, a web-portal that provides a unique individualized customized experience for our students to engage in self-awareness and early career and college readiness activities.
Students will map an electronic portfolio that includes various assessments to learn more about themselves, define and support their academic goals, career exploration and much more. Students attending Trumbull High School will keep their Naviance account and use it for career and college information.
We are excited about the opportunities and experiences this tool will provide to our students and families. We encourage you to access the account with your child through their career at Madison Middle School.
Click here to go to NAVIANCE. Students can sign into Naviance with their user name (first name, last name – all lowercase and no spaces) and their password (student ID).
