Welcome Fathers

The Jane Ryan Fathers Club is a school support group for the Jane Ryan School.  We hold activities for the school community throughout the year, such as movie nights, gym nights and our annual Super Bowl Breakfast.  Our Super Bowl event includes games and other activities at the school, as well as a pancake breakfast that is cooked and served by the fathers.  Last year, nearly 600 people from the school community attended the event!  

We also hold an annual Camp-Out on the school playground.  Last year, we had 130 campers, perfect weather, lots of food and ice cream and great fun roasting marshmallows into the night.  Our kids enjoy these events and they appreciate the active participation of their fathers in the life of their school.    

We use the net proceeds of our events to fund special projects throughout the school year.  In the past, the Fathers Club has donated, among other things, whiteboards for the classrooms, video projectors, digital camera equipment, landscaping supplies, books for reading classes, math manipulatives, paint supplies for the teachers lounge (which we and the PTA painted), a portable sound system and the granite and brick sign in the front of the school.
