Jane Ryan School, Trumbull, Conn., is a K-5 school with more than 450 students and 60 faculty and staff members. 

We strive to create a positive environment for learning that fosters self-esteem, self discipline, and academic success for all students. This effort involves everyone in the school and surrounding community -- students, parents, teachers, and administrators. We are committed to providing superb education based on the following:

Setting the bar high for each student. Our staff provides the opportunities for students to acquire basic skills through a variety of teaching methods and an awareness of different learning styles.

Open communication between the school and parents encourages a partnership that accelerates learning. This partnership supports the proposition that students must have responsibilities, as well as rights, and we have an obligation to insist on both.
