turned into a winter wonderland when staff and students donated more than $1,300
in the annual Snowflake Competition to benefit Trumbull Social Services. The winning
homeroom this year was Mr. Nagel's, Room C-3.
five huge care packages and the hundreds of letters finally made it to Task Force
Hurricane in Kosovo! Students donated candy, snacks, books, DVDs and other goodies,
and social studies classes wrote letters of support to these brave soldiers. The
Interact Club collected and boxed the items and placed change jars in the cafeteria
to collect money for postage.
Middle School is again participating in the Box Tops for Education program. It's
simple-just clip the pink Box Top icon on the many participating grocery items
and send them in with your child. They will be collected in the office and submitted
for cash to help fund student activities. Last year money from the Box Top program
helped to fund such things as: agenda pads, The National Honor Society awards
program, the 8th grade dance, Stepping Forth, team supplies, and summer reading
celebration as well as many other activities. Be a part of making Hillcrest a
great place to be by taking a just a second and checking/clipping your groceries
for Box Tops!
And remember both the Stop and Shop Rewards and the Target
REDcard programs which also earn money for Hillcrest:
