Students and staff at Hillcrest will be celebrating

sharing their favorite poems with each other as they carry their poems with them
throughout the day.
By clicking on this link
you will be able to access our Instructional
Calendars. There are two calendars per grade as marked by tabs on the bottom
of the Excel file. One calendar is designated for core content subjects and one
tab for Unified Arts classes. The purpose of the calendar is for you to get a
snapshot of the content and skills your child will be working on. It is an effort
taken on by our talented faculty in order to make learning more transparent for
both students and families and assisting them in working together to enrich their
child's educational experience. It is not intended to be a pacing guide, therefore;
dates are merely approximations. - Updated 3/1/14

CASH FOR HILLCREST STUDENT ACTIVITIES!!
Middle School is again participating in the Box Tops for Education program. It's
simple-just clip the pink Box Top icon on the many participating grocery items
and send them in with your child. They will be collected in the office and submitted
for cash to help fund student activities. Last year money from the Box Top program
helped to fund such things as: agenda pads, The National Honor Society awards
program, the 8th grade dance, Stepping Forth, team supplies, and summer reading
celebration as well as many other activities. Be a part of making Hillcrest a
great place to be by taking a just a second and checking/clipping your groceries
for Box Tops!
And remember both the Stop and Shop Rewards and the Target
REDcard programs which also earn money for Hillcrest:
