Only staff members
with a Professional Educator Certificate and those
who have earned their certification through the Alternate
Route to Certification (ARC) need CEUs.
When signing attendance sheets for workshops provided by Trumbull , all staff
members in attendance need to sign but only those with a Professional Educator
Certificate and certification through (ARC) will receive CEU credits.
According to State policy initiated last
school year, we no longer need to provide a certificate
for each workshop attended and in fact, an annual
transcript is sufficient. Therefore, you will not
be receiving CEU certificates for each class or workshop
attended that the district provides. You will continue
to receive an annual transcript which should be saved
with your important records.
In addition,
certain certifications require CEU's in specific
areas.This is the list as of 11/07. For the complete
details, visit the State
Department of Education website .
